Worth the investment. Water changes so much easier, quicker, and cleaner. Came quickly. Would recommend. Makes life easier.

I have very mixed reviews about this product. I currently have a 450 litre tank and water changes can be a nightmare. I wanted something to make this process easier and after reading the reviews I decided to make the investment, at £59.99 it isn't exactly cheap. It did also come with a 5% voucher on the day I purchased.I wanted a tool I could use for everything, instead of carting buckets of equipment backwards and forwards and this looked like the perfect solution. The whole thing is very easy to assemble and comes with instructions. However, there are loads of great tutorial videos on YouTube. The tool itself when all connect it a large and quite heavy piece of kit. You have two handles which go together and extend so you can alter the depth to accommodate different size tanks. As I mentioned mine is a large tank so the extra length of handle is ideal in my case but it can make moving it around the tank difficult. It comes with various different attachments for cleaning the tank and emptying the water. I have to say the water change function is a game changer for me. It took so much less time to empty my tank. But I do wish the pipe that comes with the pump was longer as you only get quite a short length. I assume this could be replaced. The pump itself has suction clips on the bottom so its stable and stays upright in the water.The main issue I have with and it, and it is a big one is the cleaning process. Due to the sponge filters in the cleaning nozzle hardly any dirt or debris from the tank is collected as soon as you turn off the pump it just falls back into the tank. Making it virtually useless as vacuum. You could remove the sponge but I guess the mess would then just go into the unit and clog up the pump. Honestly my old hand pump is more effective for the cleaning stage.I also tried filling the tank back up with the pump, it worked well but was quite slow compared to using the hose from the tap method I usually use so probably will only use it for the water changes. Perfect for water pumping. I cycling my aquarium and it's great. 2 water changes a day . Helped me a lot .
