I wanted to replace some old (25 years !) T5 and T8 countertop fluorescent tubes in my kitchen. I found LED tubes of the correct length etc, but also needed to replace the original fluorescent starters. These LED 'starters', which I guess are just fuses, did the job. The LED tubes now work perfectly, and without the need for any rewiring of the original light fittings.

Our light fittings were old and when the fluorescent tube went, we replaced it with an LED one. (You can only get these now) You then need an LED starter which we didn't know. Once we established this, I ordered the set of 4 and they came quickly. Inserted the starter and the light flooded in. Brilliant service.
