The swivel mechanism and the quality of this replacement mouth piece is good.Size-wise, it's a better fit with tubes of Osprey, Nalgene, Nathan, etc.With a Camelbak tube, it really is a tough tight fit that you'll struggle quite a bit just to fit it on about 80-90% of the way (ie. can't get it to go over the last flat ridge to be flush all the way). Even so cosmetically, at least it won't leak operationally.Water-flow design-wise, this Nalgene-style design mouth piece (whether made by this or other generic brands) provides less water flow than Camelbak-style mouth piece. Is your want to sip, this design would be fine. If you want to gulp, go with Camelbak-style mouth piece.

I got these to replace my original osprey mouth piece. It was a tight fit, but it worked! I am super pleased with these.

After installing this new replacement bite valve I found it works just fine for my hydration bladder. Note the old one and this new one fit really tight into the tubing so you may have to work when replacing them. It's easy to turn off and on just swivel the mouth piece. Drawing water from the hydration pac is the same as with all other bite valves. haven't seen any leaks, so far so good. I like having extra bite valves to change from time to time so they don't get too grungy and to take with you on a hike in case one fails but I've never had that happen.
