It gets the job done, but I don't imagine it lasting many years. I would suggest this as a starter to try out if you are just making takoyaki for the first time, but not for any commercial kitchen use or as a gift.

最初に回す時は焦げ付いた部分を剥がすのに先が平たいほうが良いそのあと何度も転がすには刺す必要があるので尖っていたほうが良い一長一短ですね

This little tool is great for a multitude of uses. It's a Japanese food tool used for I don't know what but I bought for removing "Evil Skeevers" from the pan and it works great. It's also good for pitting citrus.

たこ焼き器の表面がテフロン加工で、先のとがったピックが使えず、初めは竹串や箸を使ってひっくり返していましたが、うまく出来ずに困っていたので、これを買ってみました。ある程度表面が焼けたところで、側面を押すようにしてやると、くるっとひっくり返せます。
