We are in the middle of reshaping our garden and outside sitting areas, making a new pergola area further away from the house, more in the middle of the greenery. The pergola is not finished yet, but some of the work is, so I thought it's about time to get the lights to test how it will feel during the night (and figure out whether I need more light strings or not).My plan is to put these lights criss-cross under the roof of a 25 sqm pergola, approx 6x4.2 meters, and needed to know whether they'll be sufficient. For such area they definitely are, at least for us — we don't need to read book in the light during the night, we just want to orient ourselves in the space, have a drink, eat food, talk... Actually I think these can easily cover even more, I can imagine these being the only/main source of light for up to 35 sqm area, something like 7x5 meters, if you will have the power socket in one of the corners...Now, to the product itself. The cable feels pretty solid and thick, no worries about durability. The bulbs themselves are "light" and "plastic feeling", but you mostly feel it in hand, rather than see it with your eyes. Visually they look nice, like old school light bulbs. The light weight is a good feature, as there's less pull on the cable, and I didn't worry too much when I had to sometimes pull the cable while trying to put them on the trees during my pre-pergola performance test. The color of the light is nice warm, visually consistent with the old warm-yellow bulbs.What was a bit stressful, but not too much, was unpacking and un-tangling the entire package. The bulbs are packaged and tangled quite sensibly, but even though I tried my best, there was some work on untangling and it was not 5 minute job. But in the end it took only about 20 minutes to have everything in a straight line, with cable not rotated, and ready to be installed.Unless I missed it, which I doubt, there's no switch on the cable. Depending on your planned installation it might or might not be an issue. I plan to use electrician to install normal light switch for socket where these will be connected, with the benefit that this light-switch can be on one of the pergola supports and in the matching "invisible" color. So for me, this is not an issue.I hope these will work at least for couple of years, but so far, I have no worries about the durability. They really look and feel well made, and there are even 2 spare bulbs included in the package.I can definitely recommend this product.--Note: I received this item for review as part of Vine programme. Protette da trasformatore di isolamento sono effettivamente adatte all'esterno.Purtroppo già da nuove alcune luci si spengono toccando il cavo e/o il portalampade perché la crimpatura del secondo sul primo è di scarsissima qualità. Vediamo quanto durano nel tempo.....
